Top Three Drinks for Fall

The days may still feel like summer here in Nashville, but the nights and mornings are definitely fall. I know that the masses are celebrating the recent return of the infamous PSL, and I do agree that it is quite delicious, however, here are three of my favorite fall drinks.

1. Caramel Apple Cider
Or hot apple pie in a mug! This is a dessert drink for sure. I actually kind of stole this from Starbucks, but without all the extra sugar added. Just add about a teaspoon of caramel to apple juice (I used Simply Apple) and heat. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel and maybe a little cinnamon.

2. Spiced Cider
This cider is slightly tart and citrusy. Mix one part 100% unsweetened cranberry juice to two parts Apple juice. Add a couple of slices of lemon and fresh ginger, whole cloves, a cinnamon stick or two, and little nutmeg. Let it simmer for at least 10 minutes so the spices can steep. This is a great crock pot drink.

3. Early Grey Tea with Milk and Honey
I always forget how good Earl Grey tea is until I take the first sip. I steep one tea bag in equal parts milk and water with just a touch of honey. SO good.
